Our Culture
We’re an authentic team who bring our diverse backgrounds, ideas, experiences and cultures together to make payroll magic. Speaking of magic, we “pull rabbits out of hats” for thousands of small business owners across the US and Canada who rely on our payroll software to pay their employees and process their taxes. And we’re just getting started.

Team Events
Most of our team-building events are virtual. We throw a games night in here or there, we've held a F*%#-Up Night, and sometimes we hang out with each other after hours. We make space for connection beyond the "9 to 5". We also try to get together yearly to meet and hug each other in person, too.

Our Recruitment Process
Curious about how we hire? Here's what to expect if you decide to apply to one of our open roles.
Phone Interview
If you are qualified for the position and we feel there may be a match based on your application, a member of our People Operations Team will work to schedule a 20-30 minute phone interview with you.
Work Sample Assignment
Depending on your role, you may be asked to provide a written assignment or complete a test to further determine your skills fit. This stage is not always a part of the process, but our People Ops team will make sure you know up front if you should expect this.
Virtual Interviews
You will either go through 1 or 2 virtual interview rounds depending on the seniority of the role. In all cases, you will be meeting with your direct manager. In some cases, you may also be meeting with key team members or stakeholders. In most cases, these interviews are 45 minutes - 1 hour long.
Executive Culture Call
To wrap up our process, you will get the chance to chat with a member of our executive team for 20-30 minutes over the phone. This is a chance to chat about long-term team vision, the Wagepoint mission, and to ask us any juicy questions you would like. We may want to test out a joke or two in the process. You have been warned!
